Adopt A Family Program
To help make sure the season is bright for all families, the Norwell Food Pantry organizes the Adopt A Family program each year at the Holidays to match sponsors with families in need.  Recipient parents give the Food Pantry a "wish list" of clothing and toys for each child.  The food pantry matches up sponsors with children, (sponsors may choose to adopt one or all the children in a family) and the sponsors bring the toys and clothes to the food pantry.
GREAT DONATION IDEA:  Donate a gift certificate for a local store.  (Also, many shopping malls have gift certificates that can be used in any of the stores in the mall.)  We will use these where appropriate to help fulfill our children's wish lists!
In addition to the generosity of many private sponsors, we also acknowledge some group sponsors who have been so supportive:

Kids In Need
Kids In Need
is a year-round program for any child in Norwell whose family may be having difficulty providing some necessities - sneakers, a jacket, a dental visit, etc.  There are times when families may need help with more than food, and the Kids in Need program tries to fill in those gaps.  Any type of assistance is welcome.  Especially helpful are monetary donations or shopping mall gift certificates, which allow us to most easily fill the specific needs of each child.  If you would like to help a child in town, please use the confidential contact form below.
