Through a thrift shop and a food pantry, the Charity Guild provides basic and necessary services to those unable to meet their primary needs of food, clothing and household goods.
Thrift Store
The Guild operates a thrift store which offers high quality, gently used designer and name-brand clothing for men, women and children at reasonable prices. It also carries a wide variety of household goods, small appliances, toys and books. The store is open from Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..
The funds raised from the sale of goods, together with donations, grants and other fundraising, support the large emergency food pantry.
Food Pantry
Individuals and families are eligible to receive both perishable [meat, eggs, bread, and when available, fresh fruit and vegetables] and non-perishable [canned goods, cereal and pasta] items. Hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Clients may come in once every two months and must have a picture ID and proof of residency (electric bill, telephone bill or fuel bill) and identification for each person living in your household, in order to receive benefits. All food is provided free of charge to clients.
