QCAP is a non-profit, multi-service agency serving low to
moderate-income families and individuals.
SERVICE AREA:
Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree, Milton, Hull, and surrounding Norfolk
County and South Shore communities.
DESCRIPTION/MISSION:
QCAP's mission is "Through public and private partnerships, we endeavor
to assist families and individuals in our communities to improve the
quality of their lives by minimizing the effects of poverty, promoting
self-sufficiency and advocating for social change."

HEAD START & EARLY HEAD
START

Early care and education programs for income eligible children birth to
5 years, and their families. Provides comprehensive services including
education, social services, health/mental health, nutrition, and parent
involvement activities. This program serves Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree,
Milton and Hull.
COMMUNITY CARE FOR KIDS

A Child Care Resource and Referral agency serving 20 South Coastal towns
from Quincy to Plymouth. Services include childcare information and
referral, child care voucher management, child care provider training
and technical assistance, and Community Partnerships for Children child

PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMS

Community Partnerships for Children (CPC): QCAP is the
lead agency for CPC programs in Quincy and Braintree, and provides
funding for preschool child care, quality improvement funds for child
care providers, and coordination of early care and education services in
the community.
Quincy
Family Network (QFN):
A partnership of Quincy parents and agencies working together to provide
family educational programs, play groups, support services, and
information and referrals for Quincy families with children under the
age of four.
HOUSING PROGRAMS

Includes affordable housing development and property management, housing
rehabilitation services, First Time Homebuyer education and down payment
assistance, mortgage foreclosure and equity conversion counseling
program, counseling for Homeowners, Landlords and Tenants, housing
search and stabilization services for homeless and near homeless
families, emergency rental assistance. This program serves Quincy,
Weymouth, Braintree, Milton and other towns in Norfolk County.

Fuel Assistance, Emergency Heating System Repair, Energy Conservation
including home weatherization, appliance audits, and enrollment in
utility discount programs. These programs serve Quincy Weymouth
Braintree and Milton.

For adults 18 and older. Curriculum includes basic literacy to GED
preparation and four levels of English-Language instruction from
beginner to advanced. Day and evening classes. Classes are provided free
of charge.
