HELP IS NEEDED
The Rockland Food Pantry needs YOU! We have been operating
since 1989,
and most of our volunteers have been with us since "day
one!"
- Do you have 2-3 hours a month to volunteer to either bag groceries
or go to the Boston Food Bank? Our pool of volunteers is
declining.
- Do you have a pickup truck with a cap, or a cargo van that could
provide transportation to the Boston Food Bank?
We need food! There has been a tremendous increase this past year
in families and individuals seeking help.
- If you are hosting a barbeque or similar event, why not ask your
guests to bring a non-perishable food item for the pantry?
- Business Owners - why not place a drop-off box in the employee
lounge, and encourage them to help the pantry?
- When you harvest your garden, please remember the food pantry.
Many, many thanks for your continued support in assisting us to help
our neighbors.
Hunger does not take a vacation!
