Wellspring offers a wide variety of programs to help people move out of poverty and build new and better lives. Most Wellspring clients struggle with more than one serious problem, so the ability to address several needs simultaneously is crucial to their success.

Two thrift shops (one in Hull and now Wellspring West in Hingham), emergency food pantry, and on-site crisis counseling help meet basic needs and find appropriate services when people need them.

An adult-education program provides the means to secure employment, offering

basic literacy training

courses for a high school diploma

computer instruction

job search workshops

special training for mothers with children

Personal health and safety are promoted by programs aimed at domestic violence and substance abuse.
