Heading Home Needs Child Care Volunteers for Symposium

Heading Home is currently seeking volunteers -- for a one- time experience -- to read and play with children at their client symposium Heading to a Healthy Home on Wednesday, June 16th from 6:00-8:00pm. While parents attend educational seminars on becoming more self-sufficient, volunteers are help engaging their children to make sure they have an enjoyable evening as well.

The event will be held at the Reggie Lewis Center at Roxbury Community College, easily accessible from the MBTA orange line.  On-site parking is available. If you are able to arrive earlier, dinner will be served at 5:00pm and you will have the opportunity to hear our keynote speaker Chris Stevens, vice president, at Keurig.

Please help make this event a success for Heading Home's clients. This will be an excellent opportunity to see how the organization provides a range of supportive services and resources to its clients to help them end their homelessness.
